Street Kitchen takes home cooks around the world with authentic hawker style scratch cooking kits

Project brief:

Street Kitchen Kits include an extensive range of hawker-style street cuisine flavours from around the world. WMG were commissioned to create recipe inspirations and supporting cooking videos to showcase the product range as well as educate consumers on how to use the products, highlighting the innovation in packaging created for this “scratch cooking” consumer segment. The brief for this project included creating a content strategy that could be rolled out global markets including Australia, UK and USA.

About the Project

Street Kitchen Kits from Flavour Makers are perfect for home cooks that seek to replicate the authentic flavours of international “street food” style cuisines.  Using a mix of dried herbs and pastes, the easy-to-use scratch kits gather the essence of real street cuisines, allowing home cooks to create authentic dishes in three simple steps.

Consumer insights around the interest and growth in scratch-cooking, in particular experimenting with more complex flavours from herbs and spices, were used as the launch pad to create new recipe concepts.  The brief would feature ten products to kick-start promotions across owned social channels, retailers and publisher partners including myfoodbook.

Understanding the target consumer was key to creating the content strategy for Street Kitchen.  Data and insights from myfoodbook was merged with the clients’ own research to set the strategy for the brand which has achieved YoY growth since launch.  New product launches and increased ranging are planned for 2021.

Content created for Street Kitchen has been optimised across retailers from around the world, across owned assets, social channels, YouTube, BVOD and more.
